Subsidiaries of the world’s largest wheel producer Maxion Wheels and İnci Holding celebrated their anniversaries. Defne Sarısoy was the master of ceremonies in the event where Maxion Jantaş turned 50, Maxion İnci Steel 25 and Maxion İnci Aluminum 12. Shields were presented to the companies’ employees for 25 and 30 years, while their spouses were welcomed to the stage as well to receive bouquets. Following the opening and shield ceremony, singers Bengü and Rober Hatemo took to the stage.
Mustafa Zaim: Being a family is our greatest asset
In his speech on the anniversary night, Mustafa Zaim, Board Chair of Maxion İnci and Maxion Jantaş, emphasized that their achievements were an example for the world as Europe’s largest wheel producer under a single umbrella, and said: “We have a great culture, and more importantly, a great asset we have built and protected since the days we were founded: “Being a Great Family”. We are a great and proud family, with 1,600 employees at four plants together with their families. Maxion Jantaş celebrates its 50 th anniversary, growing like a strong tree. Maxion İnci Steel, an extension of Maxion Jantaş, follows its predecessor with a history of a quarter century. Maxion İnci Aluminum, an extension of Maxion İnci Steel, the smallest yet the fastest-growing company of our family, celebrates its 12 th year.”
Zaim went on to say: “We have concluded one more year growing and improving successfully. We broke many records in every field, and undertook many novelties. We kept on growing and developing ourselves. As Maxion Turkey Operations we produced more than 10 million wheels for the first time in 2017. Our total export volume reached almost 300 million dollars. We have succeeded in setting once again an example this year for the entire Maxion Wheels group, even for the global wheel industry. I am proud to be part of this outstanding family.”
