Maxion İnci Wheel Group achieved a first in the industry by qualifying for ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management System Certification, which is considered a facilitator in companies' fight against coronavirus. Highlighting that this certification marks an important milestone for the company's vision regarding its Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) culture, Hakan Ünlü, Vice President of Turkey and Africa Operations at Maxion Wheels, said the following: "Obtaining ISO 45001 Certification amidst the pandemic, during which health-related practices have gained increasing importance, symbolizes our commitment to our factory's OHS practices along with the systematic approach we have adopted."
As a result of the Occupational Health and Safety audit, the aluminum wheel plant within Maxion İnci Wheel Group, a pioneer in Turkey's automotive supply industry, qualified for "ISO 45001" Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification, thereby achieving a first in Turkey's wheel industry.
In his statement on the recently obtained ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Certification, Hakan Ünlü, Vice President of Turkey and Africa Operations at Maxion Wheels, made the following remarks: "This certification, which marks an important milestone for our vision regarding our Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) culture, not only meets fundamental industry expectations, it also paves the way for safe and systematic business sustainability while raising the awareness of employees.

First published by ISO in March 2018, the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System is considered by experts to be a facilitator in the fight against coronavirus. Alongside its ISO 45001:2018 certificate, which was granted to a company in the wheel industry for the first time, Maxion İnci Wheel Group also holds several other certificates relating to manufacturing and the industry, including ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, IATF 16949 Automotive Quality Management System, and ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System.
