The Automotive Suppliers Association of Turkey (TAYSAD) chose successful organizations during its 41st Ordinary General Assembly Meeting. Deriving over 50% of its turnover from exports, Maxion İnci was deemed worthy of an award in the “Export Performance” category.
The Automotive Suppliers Association of Turkey (TAYSAD) chose successful organizations in the fields of “Export Performance”, “Export Increase”, “Patent” and “Corporate Social Responsibility” in its 41st Ordinary General Assembly Meeting. Maxion was deemed worthy of the third prize in the “Export Performance” category. Ali Altınkaya, General Manager of Maxion İnci Aluminum, received the award on behalf of Maxion İnci from Mehmet Fatih Kacır, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology.
Altınkaya: We lead the sector with exports spanning 5 continents
Altınkaya underscored that Maxion İnci Wheel Group, the single-location wheel manufacturer with the widest product range in Europe, derives 80% of its turnover from exports to over 60 countries spanning 5 continents, and said: “We have made a total USD 150 million investment only in 7 years with Maxion Wheels, the world’s largest wheel manufacturer. We are proud of leading the sector, with a wheel manufacturing capacity of 12 million units we have at Maxion İnci and Maxion Jantaş and exports to 5 continents. We will continue to make a difference in the sector, as a company generating 80% of its turnover from exports.”
