Maxion İnci Wheel Group, a subsidiary of the world’s largest wheel producer Maxion Wheels and İnci Holding, presented certificates to employees who have exerted efforts in Lean 6 Sigma projects, as part of the Lean 6 Sigma Certificate Ceremony it organized.
The ‘Lean 6 Sigma Certificate Ceremony’ held by Maxion İnci Wheel Group, the single-location wheel manufacturer with the widest product range in Europe, took place in the A. Nuri Ünver Conference Hall of Private Manisa Organized Industrial Zone Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. 68 employees, who exerted efforts in Lean 6 Sigma projects, were presented certificates.
Zaim: We have completed 625 projects since 2004
Speaking in the ceremony, Mustafa Zaim, the Chairman of the Board of Maxion İnci and Maxion Jantaş, said: “Looking at what we have achieved in a short period of time at Maxion İnci Wheel Group, I must say that I am proud of seeing such a picture before me today. A team of 341 people, all from among our employees, finalized 130 Lean 6 sigma projects. The total number of projects undertaken since 2004 reached 625. Our goal is to finalize 750 projects by the end of 2019. In this ceremony, 68 people were entitled to receive lean 6 sigma projects, 6 employees receiving a black belt, 14 a green belt, 19 a yellow belt and 29 a white belt. 26 employees received championship certificates for the first time. We have involved a total of 60 employees in our training program and project coaching initiative for 2019. Since 2004, 190 employees have received titles, 3 a master black belt, 13 a black belt, 65 a green belt, 37 a yellow belt and 72 a white belt, which is a board of pride for us. These numbers are literally priceless”.
Stating that Maxion İnci Wheel Group owes its ever-increasing global competitive power, successful exports, efficiency and technology leadership mostly to its successful OPEX practices, Zaim added: “If we are here today, it is thanks to your efforts, due attention and determined and ambitious work”.
